Vitality Health Application
Our team of four worked on social part of Vitality Health application.
Vitality Health is a "co-caring" social community that provides reliable, authentic support, improving well being and positive healthy social behaviors.
By using this mobile application, people can offer and receive healthcare services & communicate with each other about their health & lifestyle.

Interviews
During the research phase, was conducted 13 interviews & 7 surveys. After analysis of all interviews, participants were divided into 2 major categories: caregivers and care receivers. Information was collected from 9 caregivers and 11 care receivers. About 60% of people defined themselves as caregivers who would like to be a care receiver when they feel sick.
The next diagram represent age of participants of surveys and interviews.
Reasearch
We received a lot of information from interviews. It is an important task to sort and categorize it. All farther work depends on this stage.
Synthesis
Affinity Mapping
This diagram represent needs of Caregivers and Care Receivers. It become clear that if we satisfy needs of Caregivers it will help to resolve many needs of Care Receivers.
Findings
We found that most of older care receivers are not tech savvy & are not comfortable using online applications. Because of this we decided to concentrate our efforts on the caregiver persona. We found that if they have a convenient mobile app, they will be better able to take care of the needs of themselves and their loved ones receiving care.
Summary
Primary Persona
Secondary Persona
Special Persona
To create a social mobile application for caregivers & care receivers that will allow them to find each other and use in-app tools for the best care experience.
Most of the care receivers are "Low Tech" elders & they can't use sophisticated internet applications to be able to receive an appropriate help.

Caregivers suffer from the lack of social support & good scheduling tools.
Problem
Solution
User Flow One:
Post a Task
User Flow Two:
Message a Care Receiver
Prototyping
Prototyping is always fun.
Lo-Fi Wireframes
During the testing of Lo-Fi frames users asked the following questions:

Contacts & Communication
- How do I add friends?
- Is there a comment feature for each feed so you can add updates?
- How can I create a group?
- Privacy concerns.
- What is "Update" from the chosen post "Type".
- Profile menu for messaging is not intuitive.

Mood
- Where would my moods be posted?
- Why does this app ask me how I'm feeling?

Tags
- The meaning of "Tags" aren't clear for several users.
Usability Testing findings for Lo-Fi prototype
Final Prototype
This .gif picture is a part of the prototype that demonstrates the on-boarding process and "add goal" function of the Vitality app.

It was fun to work on this project. Social application for caregivers and care receivers is a great way to apply compassion in action. I hope to work more on similar projects.
